Atletico Madrid and Croatia right-back Šime Vrsaljko misses out on Ukraine encounter in European qualifiers due to knee injury.

Following Vedran Ćorluka's hamstring problems, another pillar of defence in head coach Ante Čačić's plans has been lost to injury. Šime Vrsaljko was substituted in the second minute of Atletico Madrid's clash against Sevilla with a knee injury.

During the next few days, Vrsaljko will undergo medical examinations. Atletico Madrid and Croatia medical staff could then set the exact diagnosis and determine the injury level.
