Davor Šuker, the president of Croatian Football Federation, has visited China and met with the Minister of Sports.

In order to further improves the relations between Croatian Football Federation and Chinese Football Association, HNS president Davor Šuker visited the most populous country in the world - including the meeting with sports minister Gou Zhongwen.

A number of topics were discussed, such as Croatia's success at the 2018 FIFA World Cup in Russia and the quality work of HNS in many organizational and other areas. Gifts were exchanged, and Šuker attended the Super League match Beijing Renhe - Jiangsu Suning (0:2) in the company of the Chinese delegation.  

The CFA representatives visited Zagreb in August this year, when the cooperation agreement was signed as the foundation of the long-term partnership.

"UEFA's responsibility, in accordance with the principles of president Aleksander Čeferin as well as the Croatian Football Federation, is the maximum assistance to other national associations, in order to develop the game on every continent. We are looking forward to exchange knowledge and experience to help the Chinese reach their objectives", said Šuker.
