Croatia U-19 head coach, Zoran Vulić, takes the reigns at RNK Split.

After terminating the contract of Ivan Matić, RNK Split decided to bring back Zoran Vulić, who held the post in 2012/2013 season.

Therefore, Vulić resigns as the Croatia U-19 head coach. This decision he found very difficult to make.

"I have spent an excellent year with the national team coaching staff. Once again, I would like to thank Croatian Football Federation for the given opportunity and support. I am sorry to leave the national team, but I feel that I have a lot to give as a club coach. I miss the everyday adrenaline, the training sessions and the matches. I leave a world class generation behind, and I believe I they can go all the way. I would like to thank Romeo Jozak for fantastic cooperation and to all the people that stood by our side. It was a beautiful chapter of my career, one that will hardly happen again".

Croatian Football Federation technical director, Romeo Jozak, expressed his thanks to Vulić for his contribution and announced that the decision on his replacement will follow shortly:

"We are sorry to see Zoran leave during the qualification round in which he fulfilled all the goals. We are grateful for everything he has done and wish him all the best in the future. We shall analyze the current situation and submit a proposal to the Executive Committee, considering his successor. This generation is very talented and we have to make sure that it stays in good hands".
