Croatian international Duje Čop continues his football career in Spanish top division.

With the authorization of Dinamo Zagreb, Italian side Cagliari agreed to loan Duje Čop to Malaga CF for the upcoming season. The Spaniards will have the option to buy Croatian striker the following summer.

In Croatia, Čop played for Hajduk, Split, and Dinamo, while in Portugal he tried his luck at Nacional. In January 2015, he moved to Italy, to Cagliari, where he scored four goals in 16 appearances.

After successfully completing his medical at Malaga, Čop will join his new teammates at the training camp in Germany.

In 2013/2014 season, Duje Čop was Croatian First Division topscorer with 22 goals. He played for Croatia on two occasions, against Cyprus in September 2014 and against Argentina in November 2014.
