Osijek Football Centre hosts HNS spring tournament for boys

The HNS spring tournament for boys in the U-14 age category was held between May 24 and 26 on the pitches of Elektra and Grafičar Vodovod. The tournament received financial support from FIFA through their Forward Development Programme.

"The conditions for this tournament were excellent -- I want to praise our hosts Elektra and Grafičar Vodovod for doing everything to organize this event at a high level. As always, we saw a number of talented young players, and it's important for clubs to continue their good work in shaping them. This generation will have their first national team meeting at the end of July, when we organize the HNS summer camp," said head instructor Petar Krpan.

Borna Panić of Rijeka Football Centre was named the tournament's best player, while the title of best goalkeeper went to Marin Todorović (Zagreb Football Centre). Marin Žgomba of Rijeka Football Centre was the tournament's best goalscorer, with six goals in total.
