Starting from December 4, fans of the Croatian national team can apply for tickets for the 2020 European Championship.

The Croatian national team learned their group stage opponents at the EURO 2020 draw on November 30, and fans of the Vatreni will can now apply for tickets. All ticket applications and sales will go exclusively through the UEFA ticketing platform (euro2020.com/tickets).

When does the ticket application period start and end? The ticket application period started on December 4, 14:00 CET. It ends on December 18, 14:00 CET.

Who can apply for tickets? The ticket applicant must be 18 or older. The remaining guests in the application may be younger than 18. Note: In order to apply for matches of Croatia applicant should indicate in his/her profile in the Ticket Portal that he/she is Fan of Croatia.

Will the time I submit my application affect my chances of being successful in the lottery? It will make no difference whether you apply earlier or later in the application period. Every valid application submitted between 14:00 CET on Wednesday 4 December 2019 and 14:00 CET on Wednesday 18 December 2019 will be subject to the same allocation criteria.

How many tickets can I apply for? Each applicant can apply for a maximum of four tickets per match. The applicant must provide the personal details of each person that is included in their application. (Note: The person who opens the account and fills out the order is referred to as the applicant, while the other persons included in the ticket application are referred to as guests.)

Is there a possibility to be seated next to friend from a separate ticket application? After successfully completing your application, you will be provided with a unique group ID number. This will be indicated on the page confirming your application, as well as in the confirmation email. If you share it with your friends, they can then provide that group ID number when they submit their own ticket applications. This may allow you to be seated together, subject to the availability of seating. If you/your friends have already purchased tickets, you may enter their order number in the “Seat with” section of your application (and vice versa).

Which matches can I apply for tickets for? During the December application period, fans can apply for group stage tickets, as well as conditional tickets (Follow My Team tickets) for the Round of 16, the quarter final, semi-final and final matches. In case Croatia does not reach the knockout stage that you have purchased a ticket for, you will receive a full refund.

How will the tickets be allocated? All ticket applications that have been successfully completed by December 18 (14:00 CET) will be entered into the ticket allocation process. Priority will be given to fans of the Croatian national team who have most frequently purchased tickets for matches of the Croatian national team during the last three competition cycles. A quarter (25%) of the tickets for Croatian fans have been reserved for priority purchases. The rest of the tickets will be allocated through a ticket draw.

How will the fans with access to priority ticket purchases be determined? After the deadline for applying for tickets has passed and before the ticket draw takes place, UEFA will allocate the first 25% of tickets available for Croatian fans to ticket applications whose applicants are the most frequent buyers of tickets via the HNS ticket portal. When determining the most frequent buyers, ticket purchases for matches during the last three cycles will be taken into consideration (EURO 2016, 2018 World Cup, and EURO 2020 qualifiers). If you are a frequent buyer of tickets for matches of the Croatian national team, it’s important that you list the personal identification number (OIB/passport number) that you have most frequently used on the HNS ticket portal in your application for tickets for EURO 2020. If you have already registered on the UEFA ticket portal, you may add your OIB or passport number by December 18, 14:00 CET.

How and when will the ticket draw be held? The draw will be held at the end of January. The lottery will be organized on a match-by-match and category-by-category basis. Thus, your application could be entirely successful, partially successful or not successful at all – i.e. you could be allocated tickets for all, some or none of the matches you have applied for. However, if you are allocated tickets for a match, you will always be allocated the full number of tickets that you requested for that match. That means that you will never receive fewer tickets than you requested for a specific match if you are successful in the lottery.

When will I be notified of the outcome of my application? You will receive news of the outcome of your ticket application at the beginning of February. You will then be asked to provide your payment details.

Can I be allocated fewer tickets than the one I applied for? As the draw is held on a match-by-match basis, it is possible that you will receive tickets for only some of the matches you applied for. However, if you are allocated tickets for a match, you will always be allocated the full number of tickets that you requested for that match. That means that you will never receive less tickets than you requested for a specific match if you are successful in the lottery.

Can I increase my chances of being successful at the draw by creating multiple accounts or being added as a guest in multiple applications? No. On the contrary, if a person is found to be involved in multiple applications, all of those applications will be cancelled and will not participate in the lottery.

Which categories of tickets are available? Fans can apply for three categories of tickets. Category 1 refers to tickets for seats that are located centrally in the main tribunes, Category 2 refers to tickets for seats in the corners of the stadium, while Category 3 refers to tickets for seats behind the goal.

However, to increase your chances of being allocated tickets, you can select the option of accepting tickets in other categories. You can only be upgraded or downgraded by one category – i.e. if you apply for category 2 tickets but this category is no longer available, you can be allocated tickets of either category 1 or category 3.

How can I pay for my tickets? You will be able to pay for your tickets using any internet-enabled credit or debit card (Visa/Mastercard) or via Alipay.

Can I modify my application after filling it out? You can amend or even cancel your application up until the end of the application phase (14:00 CET on Wednesday 18 December 2019) by logging in to the ticket portal using your email address and password.

Are there tickets available for disabled spectators? Disabled spectators can apply for up to four Accessibility Tickets, each of which comes with a free ticket for a companion/personal assistant. Accessibility Tickets and Single Tickets can be combined in the same application, provided that the maximum of four tickets per match is respected (not including the ticket for the companion). Applicants requesting Accessibility Tickets are required to upload proof of disability to the ticket portal when submitting their application. That proof of disability should be a document that is widely accepted in the applicant’s country of residence. Please note that parking permits will not be regarded as valid proof of disability.

The answers to other questions you may have about the ticket application process can be found in the HELP and FAQ sections of the euro2020.com/tickets platform.
