UEFA has selected the best marketing and communications projects in the previous three years, with HNS project #TrainAtHome among the nominees for the award.

In two-year cycles, UEFA presents GROW Awards to national associations with prominent marketing and communications projects. Due to COVID pandemic, this selection encompassed a three-year period (2018 - 2021), with a record number of 150 projects from 43 national associations submitted in eight categories.

In late September, an independent jury has assessed all the submitted projects and selected the top three in each category. HNS project #TrainAtHome has been selected as one of the top three in the community initiative category regarding the COVID pandemic. 19 projects were submitted, and Denmark (DBU) and Italy (FIGC) joined Croatia (HNS) among the nominees.

Through #TrainAtHome project, HNS wanted to encourage young footballers to use their free time in these extraordinary circumstances for physical activity and developing their skills. On a daily basis, clips were published showing exercises that could be carried out at home, without additional devices and aids. They also included doctors' medical advice on healthy nutrition, as well as psychological advice considering the unusual circumstances.

Croatia senior and youth internationals, both male and female, including the futsal internationals, contributed to the video content, as well as fitness experts, managers, coaches, and experts from other fields of expertise, such as medicine and psychology. The project was initiated by HNS chief instructor Petar Krpan and HNS fitness instructor for youth categories Ivan Krakan.

This is the fourth HNS nomination in the four last UEFA award cycles, with two victories following the final presentations. In 2014. and 2018, HNS was awarded for digital communications projects.

Every nominated national association will virtually present the projects from 29 November to 2 December, while the best projects will be awarded at the ceremony on 3 December. The #TrainAtHome project will be presented to UEFA jury and the colleagues from the other associations by HNS spokesman Tomislav Pacak nad PR associate Nika Bahtijarević.
